3 tablespoons skinned split black lentils (urad dal)
3 dried red chile peppers
¼ cup raw cashews
1 tablespoon mustard seed
2 sprigs fresh curry leaves
5 green chile peppers, halved lengthwise
2 teaspoons ground turmeric
2 lemons, juiced
salt to taste
