• ¾ cup diced carrot
• ¾ cup brown sugar
• ⅔ cup chopped apple
• ½ sweet onion, minced
• 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
• salt and ground black pepper to taste
• 1 pound fully cooked kielbasa, cut into 1-inch pieces
